This P-51B Mustang "The West by Gawd Virginian" was flown by Capt. Bob "Punchy" Powell of the 328th Fighter Squadron, 352nd Fighter Group. Stationed at Bodney, England this very effective fighter group was known as "The Blue Nosed Bastards from Bodney".
