American Overseas Airlines, a subsidiary of American Airlines, began operating the Boeing 377 Stratocruiser in 1949. AOAs Stratocruiser fleet of eight aircraft serviced routes from New York and Boston to England, Scotland and Scandinavia. AOA service was short lived and the last flights were made in September 1950.
